- Recipe content: photos, PDFs, URLs, text, and recipe metadata you submit for import, parsing, translation, or storage.
- Subscription and purchase status: subscription state, entitlement status, and purchase verification data needed to unlock paid features.
- Usage data: app interactions needed to operate scan credits, restore purchases, prevent abuse, and diagnose failures.

These may include Firebase, Google Cloud services, Apple App Store, Google Play, and AI model providers used to parse or transform recipe content.
4. Recipe uploads and AI processing
When you submit a recipe photo, PDF, link, or extracted text, that content may be processed by cloud services and AI systems for features such as extraction, formatting, translation, and nutrition estimation. Please avoid uploading content you do not have rights to use.
5. Legal bases and retention
We process data to provide the service you request, secure accounts, comply with legal obligations, and maintain our legitimate interests in operating and improving KOKO. We retain data for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
6. Your choices
- You may stop using the app at any time.
- You may contact us to request account-related support.
- You may manage subscription billing through Apple or Google where applicable.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
KOKO is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
